The HE 1 supports the audio transfer protocol ASIO (Audio Stream Input/Output) for native playback of high-resolution audio files. Software components from Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH are used for this purpose. ASIO is a registered trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH.
